Corona

Since Corona I have had feelings that do not want to keep up with the course of events. It is puzzling. But then I read the following passage in GA 254, p. 179 by Rudolf Steiner. And that is exactly what it is, even if the final outcome is far from clear, the whole matter […]

The crown

This time I will reflect on the theme that seems to occupy everyone: Corona. In electron microscopic research the virus looks like a crown and was given the name Corona. It will surely not be a coincidence that precisely that name also has another meaning: the human self, the crown on natural creation, and the apocalyptic promise for the sixth cultural era… (Philadelphia).

Eurythmy

Eurythmy is an art form that is hardly known to the general public. In fact, it is only known to people who went to a Waldorf school, where it was an art subject that was usually not popular – and to the anthroposophists who more or less justifiably see it as a specific anthroposophical art […]

Metamorphosis of Consciousness

Again and again there comes a moment when I think it is necessary to point out that in our time we should want to work independently and in freedom on the transformation of our consciousness. I do not believe in spontaneous changes, the possibility to wait for them lies in the past. In modern times […]

The power of memory

In this week Spring gives its foreboding. The clear thinking that we developed in winter time now is becoming benumbed by the starting of growth in nature. With our willpower, however, we can recall our winter-strength and through this even give it the force to behold… The world is threatening to benumbThe inborn force of […]

Evil – 2

Every human being knows evil as he knows himself, for it leaves no one untouched. The saints also know it, they know it even better than the ‘sinners’, because it becomes conscious in them. A few years ago I published a number of texts about evil and I let the great thinkers and religious teachers […]

Fear and fright and the media – the Corona virus

What can we do to protect ourselves against this physical and psychic virus called the Corona virus? In alternative medicine, which is much older than modern scientific medicine, we know that the causes of illness are not only physical. Whether one gets the illness that is called ‘Corona’ not only depends on contamination. In modern […]

Seriousness and playing

But life on earth is also something distressing. The little child brings us heaven on earth, but also gives us a lot to do. It is not only cute and sweet, it is also weepy at unpleasant hours, wants our attention when we finally sit quietly, doesn’t like the food we cooked, keeps us up […]

The perfection of the little child

At death, the human being lays down his body, his home, and has to get used to moving into his new body without an earthly body. We know from spiritual science that it is the choirs of the higher hierarchies that then take over the function of the earthly body and form a new heavenly […]

The little child

In different ways I have tried to put into words what a child really is and how you should deal with it, being an adult in the education. However, the adult usually has absolutely no understanding at all for the degeneration that people go through as they grow up to adulthood. As a result, he […]
