Life goes in contrasts. Just as the Lentebazaar. The preparations started in November already, in consideration with the school in which it would be held. But two weeks before the eventual date, the host – the Rudolf Steiner School in Breda – came to the idea that the bazaar could be a competitor to the two or three months later planned spring market of the school itself, that is an obligatory event for the students. That was a hefty obstacle on the way in this spring...
Nevertheless it was a first spring day, there was a beautiful collection of second hand books, brocante, children’s toys, clothes and postcards; there was musical improvisation, a puppet theater and on the stage Snow white was played by children with red pointed caps, under the leadership of the eurythmist Snow white herself. The spectators could see for themselves how much eurhythmy is needed for young and old – the movements of Snow white were in shrill contrast with the movements of the others. What a smooth and pure human movement one witnesses there!
In the restaurant there was a healthy mixture of good pastry and organic hot dogs, warm pizza – for as long as the electricity did not drop out – and different kinds of soup. There was also honey and one could make beeswax candles.
The goal was the support of the work of Mieke Mosmuller, and that did not raise hundreds of people, that is the contradiction with the positive of the day. But we have passed that test and in the end we finished with a positive amount....
At the debriefing I have quoted from the first lecture of the cycle 'Der Orient im Lichte des Okzidents' of Rudolf Steiner. Two pillars as the foundation of spiritual science we must build. The first one is faith, trust, being able to wait. One must be able to live with the insecurity that belongs to an impulse that is just getting started, and that will only bear fruit in the future – which can never be material of course. The second pillar is the exorcising of all doubt about what you have come to see to be right. On these pillars rests the whole work of spiritual science – also when it has to be supported materially.
Modern spiritual science is found with the light that rises there, where the twilight in nature falls: the West. It is the light that resurrects from darkness…

Vele mooie spullen zijn verplaatst -
van hier naar daar, van hand tot hand,
en nog meer door dezelfde handen,
beslissen of je het kon missen,
van oog tot oog, keuren
of het mooi genoeg was voor dit doel,
uitzoeken, sorteren, schilderen,
het poppenspel maken, poppen naaien,
speelgoed maken,
- heb je wel eens een dorpje
van vilten popjes gezien
met huisjes van hout en echte lichten?
Op zulke momenten wens ik me nog een kind.
En speelgoed kopen, hele einden lopen met
bakken, koken, emailen, knippen, plakken
uren, dagen, weken, maanden
dagen en nachten
is knedend geschapen
de tentoonstelling,
de mooiste dans en muziek
samen met kinderen,
van kleuren en stoffen
de muziek van dans, weemoed en licht,
alles gevend voor een heel goed doel,
een hele boel.
We willen dat immers doen voor
zoveel boeken, en nog veel meer
lezingen, oefenen, seminars, blogteksten,
voor al deze woorden van wijsheid,
die oproepen tot het dóen ervan
-zo worden het vrienden gelijk -.
Zolang het kan
voor jou, voor mij,
voor haar,
voor ons allemaal,
elk die geïnteresseerd is
in het werk van Mieke Mosmuller.
Daar was de bazaar voor georganiseerd.
En in de praktijk blijk je toch ook
met hele andere zaken bezig te zijn:
je leert elkaar, net als op vakantie, beter kennen.
Zo is er ook gekneed en geschapen.
Als een relatie getest moet worden op zijn duurzaamheid, ook de relatie met jezelf natuurlijk, raad ik aan een bazaar voor een goed doel te organiseren .
Maar dan heb je ook wat.
Wat?
Een meer gevuld hart,
een wijzer hoofd -
de bazaar kan dan bijna bijzaak worden,
als je gaat voelen
wat omgaan met elkaar is
en mag zijn.
En toch was hij er, met alles er op en eraan.
Chappeaux! Een eerste lentedag.
En ook is er veel over,
er voor over,
voor de goede zaak
dat het werken van Mieke Mosmuller voorstaat:
de geesteswetenschap
teder voor het voetlicht leggen,
een schat dat zo voor het oprapen ligt,
geduldig uitleggen aan allen
die willen weten wat dat dan is,
die wetenschap
en hoe dat eigen te maken,
begrijpelijk schrijven, alles met de hand,
en in meerdere talen, ook het spreken
nooit moe,
nou ja, nooit…maar u begrijpt wat ik bedoel,
de uitgeverij, de digitale boeken- en speelgoedwinkel,
het reizen, ook naar buitenlanden -
en velen met haar.
Succes, kracht en vurige moed,
zijn de scheppende wensen die meegaan.
